Craft Lake City is Tomorrow... & I Have New Jewelry...

Hey Ya'll! It's Friday and you all know what THAT means! Yep, I have to get up at an ungodly hour to get my butt off to a show... No! Tomorrow I get to wake up at a normal time and get there at 11am! Yay!

Craft Lake City starts at 2pm! Yay! And goes until we can't see what we're doing (that would be 9pm).

I'm bringing a lot of jewelry. Gonna have two tables set up... like a real craft show set up tomorrow! Stuff I wouldn't normally bring to the Market in Pioneer Park AND, of course, all the new stuff you see here:

Notice how I didn't put in what it all is? Well, that's because I don't have time. Gotta get everything packed up and ready to go and it's already 6pm! AHHHH!

Oh, and tomorrow, I will also have an extra table set up so I can make rings and pendants RIGHT THERE. On the Spot! Yep. While you wait like! Yes, I have enlisted help for tomorrow. So, I will be making whatever I can while I can still see what I'm doing (probably till about 7pm).

Get there early if you want me to make you a ring or pendant while you stare at me... or go off and look at other great crafty things and come back... whichever works better at the time...

Won't know what spot I'll be in til I get there but, I'm loading in on the 200 S side of the Gallivan Center (between Main and State) so, I assume I'll be somewhere near that entrance. Under a tent, with my sign hanging behind me (unless the wind is whipping and then it'll be hanging on a table...).

Look forward to seeing a lot you there and have a great weekend everyone else!

PS, If you like any of the jewelry you see on my blog and you can't make it to a show - and it's not listed in my stores - just get in touch and I can ship it to you if it hasn't sold (or make you a similar one if possible)

Wanna See the New Jewelry?

Ok. Tomorrow I'm heading to the Trexlertown Grange bright and early to set up at From Scratch. If you're in the area, I expect to see you. If you're not, here's a bunch of the new stuff I just made that I'll probably be selling out of tomorrow.

Well, I'll be selling a few of them for sure. Mother's Day is right around the corner don'tcha know... exactly 8 days actually...

Cameo Ring...

Cameo Pendants...

Cameo Pendant Earring Set w/Gold Fill Leverbacks...

Cameo Pendant Set w/Sterling Silver Leverbacks...

Non Tarnish Silver Enameled Copper Cabachon Pendants...

Non Tarnish Gold Enameled Copper Cabachon Pendants...

Non Tarnish Enameled Copper Cabachon Pendants...

And that's the slide show.

Ok. Actually, there are a couple of other cameo rings too... and some new faceted gemstone rings (Lab Ruby and Peridot)... and some wire word necklaces... and new Miniature Watercolor Painting necklaces... um... Oh ya... and some tiny picture frame necklaces to put the pictures of your children in with little gemstone accents. So, there's a lot of new jewelry you can try on at tomorrow's show.

See you tomorrow?

Time for Indiemade Craft Market!

Saturday is the day. The 2nd Annual, Indiemade Craft Market in Allentown, PA. Last year was such a blast and I've been looking forward to this years event since, well, since the last one was over!

So, 10am is the time to be there... well, maybe earlier cause there was a line waiting to get in last year. Why? So you can Get yourself one of 50 swag bags - and a little catseye pendant made by me - and first dibs on all the handmade goods made by the wonderfully amazing talent that will be there. Yes, I am gushing. You will too...

It's at 1221 S. Front Street in the Starlight Ballroom. You can click on the Custom Adornments banner in the sidebar (under "Come See Me in December") for a map link to the show.

Hope to see you there - I have a new Copper and mostly 1950's Vintage Japanese Lampwork collection I made just for this show. So, if you come, you'll be one of the first ones to get a piece of it - or two...

I know you can't really tell what they look like from these pictures, but I think you can get something of an idea. 5 different beads ranging in date from 1948 to 1953. 6 different necklace and bracelet sets with at least two matching pairs of earrings for each set. First ones to look at them get the option to actually buy a full set, and a nice discount for getting a set instead of breaking them up. Because I'm sure they'll get broken up quickly, they usually do. So if you're coming to the Starlight on Saturday, and like your jewelry in sets (or want to give a different piece of the set to different friends or relatives), make sure you get there early for this new collection in Falltastic colors that are bright and big enough to wear during the winter and summer too.

Oh, and I haven't come up with a name for the collection yet. So, if you have any good ideas for this collection name, please feel free to post it in a comment. If you come up with a good one, that I wind up using, I'll make sure you get credit and a little thank you gift as well!

So, ya. Hope to see you Saturday!

Quicky Update

Hey eveery body!

Some of you know this because I told you, it directly pertains to you OR, you subscribe to and actually read my newsletter...

What?

This: I have several pieces of new consignment jewelry out in the world as of today.

Six necklaces at Paper Presence (296 Main Street in Beacon, NY 845-849-2443), and three (now, but soon to be a few more) at Pink Cloud Boutique (2 Main Street in Harriman, NY 845-238-2752) as well. This is the first consignment I've had at Pink Cloud. [Any and all help at making it one of many will be very appreciated...;]

While the idea of the necklaces is similar; both stores actually have different, exclusive to them, versions of a new direction for me: wire word jewelry.

Since I'm just figuring out how to do it, I started with the short words and, as I get more comfortable with it, I'll make some longer words and then work on some other styles and uses I have kicking around in my head a little later as well.

For now, you can get something like one of these (or actually one of these):

at Paper Presence and something like this one (or this one):

at Pink Cloud Boutique.

Paper Presence still has some of my picture frame jewelry as well. You can put your own image in them OR, you can take in the photo you want in the necklace frame, hand it over, and Lydia will shrink it down and put it in one of my necklaces for you. These are really great for a personal gift.

As always, each one is different enough to make all the new necklaces one of a kind.

And that's pretty much all I have to say today. Oh, except:

Thanks for caring and hope everyone has a greaattt weekend!

New Shows Added

Looks like I'll be selling jewelry in Beacon in one more place:

The Hudson River Market. On Saturdays through Fall, at the lot between Hudson Beach Glass and Riverwinds starting at 10am. I'll have a booth on May 2nd, 16th and 23rd. That's this Saturday, in two weeks and again the week after that.

I hope to see a lot of you at one of those and, if you're in the Atlanta area, I'll be at the Hatch Market Mother's Day weekend in Griffin, GA. I have booth number 40 in the pass through to the Garden area (first one on the left as you head to the Garden).

Made a whole new Spring flower collection for the Mother's Day weekend show and finished up my pearl Spring Wedding collection as well. New stuff debuting at that show, so if you're in the area, be sure to come by and get the ones that works for you.

Here's a few pictures of the Spring Flowers collection:

I'll be taking whatever doesn't sell in GA to the second Beacon Hudson River Market date, so you can get some of it there too  - if there's any left;]

And don't forget to come by Paper Presence on Sunday, May 3rd for your own custom made picture pendant necklace. For Mom or for yourself.
